Laptop/PC Software.

Boltech's Laptop/Desktop Repair Course Level 1 & 2 provides comprehensive training in software-related aspects of computer repair. The course covers topics such as operating system installation, hard drive partitioning and formatting, driver installation, application installation, and antivirus installation. Students will also learn about Microsoft Office installation, Windows backup and restore, and workgroup networking and internet concepts.

Software (Theory Practical)

Boltech's Software (Theory Practical) course provides in-depth training on various software-related topics. Students will learn how to install Windows on laptops with secure boot enabled, without losing customer data, and how to create a bootable USB drive. The course also covers networking concepts such as IP addresses, ipconfig, and assigning IP addresses. With this knowledge, students will be equipped with the skills needed to troubleshoot and fix software-related issues on both laptops and desktops.

Laptop/PC Hardware.

Boltech's Laptop/PC Hardware course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the internal components of laptops and desktops. Topics covered include the identification of laptop/desktop parts, types of adapters/chargers, battery types, LCD types and sizes, types of hard drives, types of keyboards, laptop housing and hinges, motherboard types, types of RAM, types of CPUs, and CD/DVD drives. Students will also learn about the tools and equipment used for laptop/desktop repair, as well as common fault diagnosing and troubleshooting techniques. By the end of the course, students will be able to assemble and disassemble laptops and desktops, identify and diagnose hardware issues, and provide solutions to fix them.

Hardware Section (Theory & Practical)

The Laptop Motherboard Repair course at Boltech offers hands-on training in repairing and replacing laptop components. Students will learn how to identify each component and IC in the laptop motherboard, test electronic components using a multimeter, and identify PCB components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, inductors, and fuses. They will also gain an understanding of OHM's Law and how to properly use a regulated DC power supply. The course covers practical troubleshooting techniques such as repairing and replacing DC jacks, LCDs, LEDs, touchscreens, speakers, microphones, headphone sockets, keyboards, and mice. Students will also learn how to diagnose and repair power system issues, such as dead systems, no display, dim display, and freezing systems, and replace WIFI cards. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to diagnose and repair a wide range of laptop hardware issues.

ADVANCED REPAIR LAPTOP/DESKTOP REPAIR LEVEL 3

This is an advanced level course for Laptop/PC repair that covers both theory and practical components. In the theory part, you will learn how to read schematics and block diagrams of laptops and diagnose faults in Laptop PCB with the help of schematics and block diagrams. In the practical part, you will get hands-on experience in testing electronic components with a multimeter, using advanced testing and repairing tools, desktop PCB fault diagnosis, laptop PCB fault diagnosis, identifying each component & ICs in the laptop motherboard, soldering and de-soldering practice of ICs, and more. This course also includes special training on BGA machines/hot air rework stations and micro-soldering using a microscope. By the end of this course, you will have advanced skills in laptop/desktop repair and be equipped to handle complex issues.
